El Con Autoduel Park, Tucson, AZ - circa 2028
Already underused by 2010 and completely abandoned during the financial woes, gang violence, and resultant population exodus during the late 2010s, El Con Mall sat unused and mummified until 2027. As citizens returned during the 2020's, reassured by the fortress truck stops along I-10 and the revitalized Davis-Monthan AFB, local business owners reincarnated the vast parking lots of El Con into an outdoor autoduel facility, Commando Scout camp, and annual BBQ event. Although rough by national standards, El Con Autoduel Park is the best Southern Arizona has to offer.
El Con hosts a weekly Amatuer Night, Division 5, 10 and 15 touring events, and the ever-popular mass executions of convicted criminals, cycle gang riff-raff, and rebel sympathizers.
Park rules: no weapons targeted up above the horizontal (because of unprotected bleachers), no weapons above 3d damage.

Special Events
Amateur Loop: an unarmed race loop, 3 or 4 cars (usually $2000 Amateur Beaters) start in a line facing west near the North Center gate. They must make two loops around the outside of:
- the NW sand trap
- the SW TV shack building
- squeeze between the SE handicapped area and the south wall
- the NE sand trap
...and finally exit through the North East gate.
Mass Executions: condemned individuals are given an array of crude weapons and lined up along the North and South walls. One or two executioner vehicles enter through the West or East gates and the carnage begins. Any survivors are given a governor's pardon and set free. Prisoners attempting to escape over the walls, and those helping in this attempt, are fair game for the tripod MGs on the central TV building.
